Our Forest School

At Foston Primary School we are keen that our children take the opportunity to use our beautiful surroundings for enhancing their learning. We regularly use the community resources to enable all our children to learn through a variety of learning styles. We use many elements of forest schools activities in school and are continually developing outdoor provision for not only our EYFS children but the whole school.

Our children have a school garden which they like to grow vegetables in, we even grew our own pumpkins for caving at Halloween!

We are also lucky enough to make regular visits to Howsham mill to explore the forest and participate in outdoor learning and activities.
