Sports Funding

The Government has committed to spending £750 million on improving physical education and sport in primary schools between now and the 2020 Olympics.

This funding has been given directly to schools.

To further develop curriculum provision of P.E and widen children's experiences
1/2 day of a HLTA to lead and develop P.E across the school. Audit and develop P.E resources. Increase participation in competitive sports. Appoint a P.E coach across federation

Higher pupil involvement in a variety of sporting activities.
To develop provision for sport at playtime and lunchtime
Buy resources to enhance playtimes and engage school council in leading activities
Playground markings and training
To encourage and support 1/2 hour activity per day
To develop outdoor learning across our federation
Employ HLTA across federation for 1 day per week to develop and lead outdoor learning. 
Existing staff to be used to develop this area 
To enhance cross curricular opportunities for active learning
To enhance curriculum with a range of sports and activities in addition to that offered by the curriculum
See record of activities undertaken by children across the federation. Develop playtime provision through markings and P.E equipment,
List of requested activities that children would like to try
A wider range of opportunities for children to experience a wide variety of sports
To become a forest school and resource for active learning in this area
To train an HLTA as a certified forest school leader

To enable the federation to take advantage of forest school status to enhance active learning experiences
